Supporting Sam Koch at the GMB Golf Tournament

On June 30, 2017, Conestoga Buildings’ team members participated in a 1st annual golf tournament to support the Gina Maria Barnes (GMB) Warriors Foundation. The tournament was held at The Links at Gettysburg, a beautiful golf course in Gettysburg, PA.

When Sam Koch, punter for the Baltimore Ravens, approached us about this event, we wanted to show our support for him and his personal connection to this foundation. Koch is a customer of Conestoga Buildings so our team was nothing but happy to take some time out of their day to represent our company and show their support. Conestoga Buildings also sponsored a hole at the tournament on Friday.

The day included 32 4-player teams in straight scramble format and captain’s choice best ball. Beverages and food were available on the course during the tournament with all proceeds going to the Gina Maria Barnes Warriors Foundation. Once the tournament was complete, the teams were invited to a cookout dinner that included all your favorite cookout essentials: hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, fruit salad, etc.

Prizes were offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, longest drive, closest to pin, and 50/50 raffles.
